Kathy's Books

* Farmers' Directory of Crawford County, Pennsylvania, 1909-1910. published by the Pennsylvania Farmer Publishing Company, Meadville. Contains a complete listing of all adult inhabitants in Crawford County (excluding the cities of Meadville and Titusville). It lists husbands and wives names, occupations, addresses, how many acres owned or rented, and if they rented - who it was rented from.
* History of the Eighty-Third Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteers by Amos M. Judson, Captain of Company E, 1865. Republished in 1986 by Morningside Press, Dayton, Ohio. The book lists the name and rank of each soldier. It also tells if they were drafted or enlisted and where they were mustered into service. It also tell if the soldier was wounded or killed in action, and where the incident occured.
